Political parties are roping in popular actors to add glamour and colour to the campaign for the 13 April Assembly Elections in Tamilnadu.
The ruling DMK has brought in Khushboo, who was the dream girl of Tamil cinema some years back to the centre-stage of politics. She kicked off her campaign showcasing the 'heroine' of the DMK, the election manifesto in Madurai. Clad in a simple saree sans any make-up, she took the mike from a special campaign van with a beaming smile.
Several youths went crazy taking pictures with their camera cellphones and women commenting on her fair complexion with awe. She is slated to make a whirlwind tour across Tamilnadu seeking voters for DMK.
