The news of AIADMK combine sweeping Tamilnadu Assembly elections has brought cheers to a section of Tamil film industry as they burst crackers and distributed sweets.
Untill now we are controlled by the Chief Minister's family and none of the small and medium-budgetd films could see the light of the day. The first family controlled the industry. We are hopeful that AMma will liberate us they said.
AIADMK was set to form a government on its own in Tamilnadu as it was leading in 136 Assembly segments in the polls to the 234-member
Interestingly, prominent film personalities including Vijayakanth, Sarath Kumar won the elections.
