His recent-hit Kavalan is all set for screening at the Shanghai International Film Festival. Vijay has been extended a personal invitation for the event.
Kavalan directed by Siddique featured Vijay and Asin lead roles. Vijay played the role of a bodyguard in the movie.
Shangahi is one of the prestigious film festivals where the best of best films from across the globe would be screened. Interestingly Kavalan would be premiered at the Panorama section of the festival. Buzz is that special invitees from across the globe would watch the movie.
Vijay has two films lined up for release - Nanban, directed by Shankar and Velayudham by Jayam Raja.
