The first combination of action hero Vijay and successful director Shashank ‘Jarasandha’ was shot at the famous festival of Mulki Bappanadu Sri Durgaparameshwari in the presence of lakhs of devotees. Sri Mantralaya Combines B Basavaraj and BK Gangadhar produced action cum love story has an important message that will be divulged at the climax of the film.
In the festival and procession of the goddess Vijay, Praneetha, Rangayana Raghu, Swayamvara chandru and 50 co artists took part in the shooting. The shooting was held for three nights at the festival of Goddess Durgaparameshwari.
‘Jarasandha’ has no connection to the Mahabharatha epic but some shades of the epic character is in the quality of protagonist Vijay. Shashank has penned the story, screenplay and also written the dialogues. Arjun has composed the music and Shekar Chandru is the cameraman. Roopadevi, GK, Chetan and others are in the cast.
