Udhayanidhi Stalin to distribute Maaveran

After almost a gap of 21 years, producer Allu Aravindh is back in Tamil to produce a movie. His last venture was the blockbuster movie Mappillai that featured Rajnikanth and Amala.


Allu Aravindh is back with a bang with Maaveeran, that stars Ram Charan Theja and Kajal Agarwal. It is a big-budgeted movie made using state-of-the-art technology. The movie is directed by S S Rajamouli.


Made as Magadheera in Telugu, it released with over 450 prints across the globe in over 1200 screens and garnered massive collection. It was declared a huge box office hit.


The movie also stars Sri Hari, Dev Gil, Sarath Babu and Brahamanandham among them. Chiranjeevi, Kim Sharma and Mumaith Khan make special appearence. Scenes involing the lead pair were shot in Chennai, Pollachi, Vizag and adjoining areas.


A costly song featuring Ram Charan , Chiranjeevi and Mumaith Khan was shot at Chennai Harbour with over 500 dancers. The song has been penned by Vaali and sung by Ranjith and Janaki. The songs would be released by Sony Music.


Maaveran would be released in Tamil by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies. Story is by Vijayendra Prasad, dialogues by director K Bhagiyaraj, songs are by Vaali and Jayaram, cinematography by Senthilkumar and music by Maragathamani. Choreography is handled by Sivashankar, Baba Baskar and Noble Premrakshith. Produced by Geetha Arts, the movie has screenplay and direction by Rajamouli
