Sathya Sai Baba life in movies

Veteran filmmaker Kodi Ramakrishna is a name to reckon with in South Indian cinema. He has churned out many a blockbusters in Telugu cinema having worked with many actors spanning three generations. Many films of his were dubbed and released in Tamil to see full house. He is now all set to do a movie on Sathya Sai Baba, who passed away recently.


A multilingual film is being planned on the life and times of Sathya Sai Baba. Kodi Ramakrishna, who has directed nearly 100 movies, and producer Hariram Jogaiah have approached the Sathya Sai Central Trust members for their cooperation and permission to make the biopic.


Kodi Ramakrishna said there were no budget restraints for the proposed film which will also feature miracles performed by Sai Baba for his devotees.


'We are planning to begin shooting on Gurupoornima (July 15). The same day Baba’s Mahasamadhi will also be unveiled. We intend to release the film on Baba’s birth anniversary (Nov 23) this year,' he said.


'We are making this movie only after conducting a proper research. This film will simultaneously be made in four languages. We will finish shooting in one schedule,' he said.
