Veteran actress and National-award winner Shobana is all set to make a comeback in Kollywood through Simbu’s Podaa Podi. It is reported that the yesteryear actress will play a prominent role, that of Vijayalaxmi Sarathkumar’s dance mentor, in the film. Well-known artist Ute Bergk (assistant art director of Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and V for Vendetta) has recently been roped in as the art director for the film.
Podaa Podi is produced by Gemini and Padam Kumar and as the title suggests, the film is an energetic rom-com.Silambarasan is shooting for Vettai Mannan, Vosthi besides Poda Podi.
Shobana, who started his career opposiyte Kamal Haasan has won great reputation for her acting skills after winning National award. Welcome back Shobana.
