Super Star' Rajinikanth being admitted in hospital on Wednesday evening creating lot of tension among his fans. A section of media carried reports that the actor, who commenced his forthcoming film Raana was rushed to ICU in the hospital and put under observation.
All fans started to gather at the house of Rajinikanth in Chennai. Anxious calls were made to the family by many from the industry. Speaking at the hospital, Rajinikanth's youngest daughter Soundarya said, 'Rajinikanth is down with viral fever. He has lost fluids in the body. Doctors adviced a couple of days rest. If he goes home, he would be flooded by visitors and hence for his complete rest he has chosen to stay in hospital'.
Stating that his fans should not panic, Soundarya urged them to pray for his speedy recovery. She further added that once he gets well, the shooting for Raana would resume.
