Deiva Thirumagan is another Deiva Magan

Say Deiva Magan, you are reminded of thespian Sivaji Ganesan. Henceforth when someone says Deiva Thirumagan, one will automatically say Vikram. The reason is Vikram has given his best playing a youth who has the mental growth of a five-year-old boy.

The movie has Vikram, Anushka and Amala Paul in lead roles. It is directed by Vijay, one of the most promising directors in Tamil cinema, after having made a mark in films like Kireedam, Poi Solla Poorom and Madharasapattinam.

Vikram and the makers are excited about the project. Says Vijay, 'This is an out-and-out Vikram film. The manner in which he did his homework to get into the role something really stunned our entire unit.

If Deiva Magan was a milestone in the career of Sivaji Ganesan (who played a triple role), Deiva Thirumagan will certainly stand out as a turning point in Vikram’s career. If the ‘bygone era of the past’ was the USP of Madharasapattinam, then Vikram’s character is the USP in this film.'
