Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the Wporld Cup for Indian cricket team fulfilling the 28 years dream for the country. No sooner winning the World cup, Dhoni tonsured the head to fulfill a pledge to the almighty who has been kind enough to him.

The Indian captain took the world by surprise on Sunday morning by sporting bald look. He apparently shaved off his hair in his hotel room. Dhoni is believed to have made a commitment to go bald before a deity close to his hometown in Ranchi even before the World Cup started. The World Cup winning skipper will now offer the hair at the Balaji temple in Tirupati.

Dhoni’s new look was first spotted when he appeared for an official photo shoot in front of the Gateway of India. Dhoni's scintillating leadership helped India defeat Australia in quarterfinals, Pakistan in semifinals and the mighty Lankans in the finals.

Former Indian skipper Ganguly hailed Dhoni has called Dhoni as greatest Indian captain. Dhoni led India to victory in the 2011 World Cup, with a crucial unbeaten 91 in the final against Sri Lanka and Ganguly said Dhoni's leadership record in each of the game's three formats spoke for itself. 'There can't be any doubt about it,' Ganguly told.
