Srikanth, who started his career with a bang in Rojakotam, had a slew of failures and almost went to oblivion. But now having bagged a plum role in Shankar's Nanban, where he reprises the role essayed by Madhavan in 3 Idiots, Srikanth is hopeful of making it big in Kollywood again.
He is thrilled to be part of Shankar's mega venture and exudes confidence that his role has come good and that he will have a big time in Tamil cinema.
Meanwhile, Srikanth has announced that his next venture would be Ethiri En 3, to be directed by rookie Ramkumar.
Srikanth says, 'This film is different, yet has all the requisite commercial elements. I took about eight months to decide, and signed up only after I was confident this will be a good follow-up to Nanban.
It is an urban story about a software professional from a simple family, and a lot of real incidents have been incorporated in the script'.
