Actor Vikram has essayed various off-beat roles in the past. And this time, he’s all set to play a five-year-old boy in Deiva Thirumagan, directed by Vijay of Madharasapattinam fame.

Speaking about the film, Vikram says, ' I enjoyed doing the film and the shooting was like a holiday. Everyone says that I have acted well, but I know I wouldn't have done it without the team.'

Krishna, Vikram’s character in the film, is a grown-up man, with the mental maturity of a five-year-old boy. Vikram, who has also sung a song in Deiva Thirumagan, was all praise for veteran actor Nasser, who plays a pivotal role in the film.

Talking about the actresses, Vikram said, 'Anushka is a glamour queen in the Southern film industry. But in this film, you will see her in a different role. Amala Paul has played a fantastic role, one that’s very different one from ‘Mynaa’.'
